Motorized shades in Port St. Lucie, FL
Raise and lower from a wall remote, your phone or a schedule, and save a favorite position. Rechargeable motors plug in with a magnetic charger, so there is no wiring in the wall.
Motorized shades make the most sense in Port St. Lucie on tall or hard-to-reach glass and in homes where the owners travel. Two-story living rooms, stairwell windows and long runs of lanai sliders all move from one remote or a schedule. Our standard motors are rechargeable, so there is no wiring and no electrician, and they fit any of our roller shades and exterior screens.
Nothing to tangle or reach, and safer in homes with children and pets.
A wall remote, a handheld remote or an app on your phone.
Shades lower in the afternoon sun and rise in the morning on their own.
Stairwells and two-story glass move at the press of a button.
Motorized shades for Port St. Lucie homes
Port St. Lucie is one of the fastest-growing cities in Florida, and a lot of our work there is in new construction: builder-grade windows in Tradition, Verano and St. Lucie West that come with nothing on them. New homes often have large great-room sliders and tall foyer glass, which is where made-to-measure shades earn their keep.
We install motorized shades throughout Port St. Lucie, including Tradition, PGA Village, St. Lucie West, Tesoro, Verano, Torino, Sandpiper Bay. Port St. Lucie is a short drive north of our Palm City shop on the Turnpike or I-95.
Any shade can be motorized
We add a motor to light filtering, blackout, solar screen and dual shades, and to our retractable screens. The motor sits inside the roller tube, so a motorized shade looks exactly like a manual one, just without the chain. The motors we use are quiet, and a saved favorite position means one press takes the shade to the height you use most.
Rechargeable, no electrician
Our standard motors run on a rechargeable battery built into the shade. A magnetic charging cable clicks onto the end of the tube, and a charge typically lasts months depending on how often the shade moves. There is no cutting into the wall and no outlet needed at the window. For new construction or large projects, hardwired motors are also available.
A free in-home visit in Port St. Lucie: we measure every window and bring samples you can hold up to your own glass.
Your motorized shades are built to those measurements in our shop at 3399 SW 42nd Ave, not ordered from a catalog.
The people who measured come back to install, test every shade and show you how it works.

Do motorized shades need wiring?
Not with our rechargeable motors. A magnetic charger plugs into the shade a few times a year. Hardwired motors are available for new construction.
